nyu v. columbia

Too early to say. I haven't visited either yet. Leaning slightly toward Columbia because of the national reputation and I think it is a little cheaper for campus housing. Money will probably be the deciding factor (not to mention, I still haven't been accepted at Columbia). I still haven't ruled out any of my acceptances.

The same thing happened to me with the Cornell waiver. You can ask them to refund your fee and they will.

Money or Prestige?

I got the same BU scholarship and have been accepted at both NYU and Columbia, among others. Thus the question - can you turn down a top 5 school for the cash? Usually I would think not, but the BU scholarship is so substantial, I am certainly considering it. Any thoughts?
