restart1230 (2018-2019)

I am a restart law student. What this means is that I was academically dismissed first time around. Being dismissed was completely disheartening for me. Please do not underestimate the complexity of law school. School always came naturally to me and law school did not. I am determined to get back in and be the best law student I can be. I am hoping these schools do not reject me due to my prior dismissal, technically they are barred from doing so but hey you never know. I am hoping that I can serve as a good testimony for someone who needs that extra push one day.

12/27/2017 - Seems like my academic dismissal is the reason I am seeing this waitlisted trend. I was accepted to FIU during my initial law school admissions cycle and now they waitlisted me. Only thing that has changed is the dismissal. Anxiously awaiting an answer from Pace as I applied for the Spring start which begins next Friday, Jan 5. Going to submit a Letter of Continued Interest to NYLS just in case.

1/12/2018 Rutgers updated status Finaldecision not made, file still under review I guess thats better than a denial or waitlist.

2/8/2018 In at Touro with a full ride! 2 year fast track program. I am so happy and relieved. Where there is a will there is a way. I really hope this serves as hope to someone who is placed in my position one day.
