you guys are EXACTLY the kind of lawyers this country needs more of!
Interesting that you didn't include Chicago on your list. Also, how'd you hear from NU? Congrats!
Thanks for applying even though you don't care and taking up valuable spaces from those of us who really, really want to go. Actually I'm just jealous that you heard back from NW already. Did you apply early decision? How long ago did you apply?
buy me a beer when i visit
I'm not really mad that you're applying to schools to see if you get into the any of the best. I was just kidding. Truce?
Are you URM? Chicago >> Berkeley...no point in going to Berkeley You're not that serious about them, but you spent the money on the LSAT/apps, you worked in a law firm for a year, you did mock trial, and you might spend the next 3 years of your life at one?
Nope, I\\\'m as white as 90% of all law school applicants. Yea, I\\\'m not that serious about law school--sometimes it takes some experiences to realize whether or not you like something.
I am just curious...I guess it's hard to figure out why you would want to pursue a very very expensive legal education unless you are 100% (or at least 90%) sure you want to do it. You must be rich (or your daddy is)
Did you do a hard sciences major, one that usually results in a GPA around that level? I have a slightly higher GPA and a slightly lower LSAT and am just amazed at your success. Like you, I'm not taking this that seriously, but I just wonder - how do you think you did it? Personal statement? Work experience? Sorry to ask so many questions
Now that you're accepted and know where you're going, can you post more info (e.g. dates, race, urm status, undergrad major, soft factors, etc.)?
that you would want to keep some degree of privacy. Our numbers are so similar I suppose I was just curious. Congrats on the acceptances!
I understand if you don't want to post your info. I'm not being a hypocrite--I do have URM status and dates posted on mine. And I fully intend to bare all--add major and soft factors--once I am in at my first choice and no where I'm going. I thought that maybe you'd be willing to post it also now that you're "in." I'm sorry that I was mistaken. I was just asking for more info to help me and others who still aren't in where they want to go.
could you please please please tell me the secret of your sucess?
what are your soft factors?
hi there, i am applying this fall and i was wondering if i could talk to you about your application process and stuff. i hope that i can get some wonderful insight from you. please email me as soon as you can. thanks =)
His information is fake. He did not really get into Yale and Harvard or Berkley with that GPA. (Unless he is an african american female with the most amazing Personal Statement ever and he bribed the admissions committee)
I soooo agree with you about the law schools. Everyone keeps telling me to expand my list since my LSAT's didn't come out as expected, however if I don't get in I will just get my CPA with a big four accouting firm and reapply (of course I am also really young-19) but still.... If you want to make it, a big name school is the way to go.
