Additional info & updates

11/01: So it begins. Applications sent off to Northwestern, Georgetown, BU, and Ohio State. The plan this week: Send an app a day between now and Friday when I'll finish the rest.

11/08: Applied to Penn. Really need to pick up the pace with these. Interviewing at Northwestern on Tuesday.

12/18: Complete at a lot of places. Sent an app to UGA three days ago and haven't got a notice of receipt from them. Hmph. Would REALLY like to get a decision today.

12/30: I received an e-mail from Northwestern stating that my application was being placed on hold and that I was released from ED obligations I'm assuming this counts as a waitlist.

01/06: In at Georgia via status checker! I'M GOING TO LAW SCHOOL!

01/12: Dinged at Penn. It was silly of me to send an app there (as well as to most of the schools to which I applied, but hey, I had waivers).

1/13: In at Ohio State via e-mail. 'Bout damn time.

1/20: In at UC.

1/21: Decision Rendered at Georgetown via status checker. I'm guessing a ding is en route to my house as I type this.

1/25: Got the ding from Georgetown today via e-mail. I was expecting it, but there's no reason they couldn't have got that news to me quicker. Went complete at IUB

1/26: Went complete at Cornell. I have no reason to believe they would let me in, but I would really like it if they would.

1/27: Decision mailed at Vandy. I imagine it's a ding.

1/30: Ding from Vandy came in a thin envelope. I wonder when I'll hear about money from UC or UGA.

2/4: $7k/year scholarship from Cincinnati and a tuition equalization scholarship from UGA today. I've always thought the bulldog is a charming animal.

2/12: $11k/year scholarship from OSU. WL @ BU. Still waiting on IUB and Cornell, but barring a fluke acceptance from Cornell, I'm headed to Columbus next fall.

3/10: In at IUB via a thick packet in snail mail with a 15k/year scholarship. It's exciting, but IUB's out of state tuition is really, really high...

3/11: Cornell's status checker has went to "decision." I imagine a ding is on its way from Ithaca as I type this. Safe journey, rejection letter, safe journey.

3/15: Received my ding from Cornell today. Looks like I'm all set to attend OSU next fall.

4/14: Just when I thought I was all wrapped up, I figure out that UGA is a good deal cheaper. Decisions, decisions...

Best of luck with your cycle! NU would be awesome if that ED works out!

Good luck!

Cycle's been good for you so far :) I'd give anything to be even waitlisted at Northwestern... sigh.
