I have applied to a few law schools for the Fall 2014 cycle. I hope to update the page as information is available. Fingers are crossed!

I received my first acceptance letter today from Cooley. I have to admit it does feel good knowing that at least one so far has offered full admissions. Waiting on FAMU, and Barry still. I will have an answer by April 25, 2014 at the latest from Barry. So we will see. FAMU is my top choice.

I see where it appears that my application has been reviewed a couple of times with no update in decisions. I am seriously disappointed with FAMU taking so long.

Well I have been accepted to all of the law schools that I have applied to. I have taken some time to weigh in on all of my options. Barry University had agreed to increase my scholarship to 10k per year and offered a guaranteed 7k grant for my first year. Though this is an appealing offer, I have decided to choose my original first choice and have filed my intent with FAMU Law School in Orlando, Florida. This is the best and most affordable option. I wish everyone the best!

I know im late but with that GPA and if you get slightly above a 155 you could really do great things at much better schools...dont settle for FAMU...from everyone i've spoken with its not worth the money. Just a small piece of advice. Be well.

Withdrew from FAMU Law School. I have accepted the offer from William Mitchell Law School to start in the Spring.

Why did you choose WM? Are you doing the hybrid program? I was all set to go to FAMU until I saw this post and read some more about WM's Hybrid program. I wouldn't have to relocate and I can keep my job.

I did chose the Hybrid option. However, I am seriously disappointed in that I sent my deposit and acceptance letter to them and they apparently never received it. Instead of contacting me after I had told them I sent it they gave my seat to someone else. I had to place a stop payment on my check and now have to either wait until the next cycle or go to one of my other choices. I chose WM after I had already accepted and paid my deposit to FAMU for this cycle. I am not sure I will reconsider choosing WM after this lack of communication.

I am so sorry to hear that. I was rejected and now i will be attending FAMU in January. For some reason i was offered the Spring semester to start after i miss the Fall semester. What is your decision? Is it going to be FAMU?

I am sorry to hear about the rejection. Yes. I do plan to attend FAMU in the Fall. I requested a deferment last August. I was not 100% sure about the hybrid program.(Cost) I will need to move my family down to Orlando for it. However, it is for more than just my attending law school there. My oldest son will be transferring to UCF for engineering. So Id o look forward to the move.
