I could just be naive here, but any reason why you're not considering wash u? I'm still waiting to hear from USC and I'm just wondering. Congrats on your great acceptances!

Hey I attended UT for undergrad and am about to head out West to attend USC LAW. Austin is an awesome place to live with a vibrant night life and plenty of goodlooking people. The only drawback of the University might be its huge undergrad population and large law school class size (more than double USC). I kind of grew tired of being a number after a few years. Also if you would like to practice in TExas you know where to go and the same is also true for California. Goodluck with your choice and hit me up via email if ud like to chat about it. Oh yeah sorry to neglect to mention that both of their football teams kick ass, so you have a win-win there!

Thanks for the comments. I think the size was something that attracted me to UT. My high school graduating class was just 82 and I went to a small liberal arts school for college so I was interested in a experiencing a big school. I also think overall that UT would work out better socially. LA can be so isolating and a very difficult place to make friends. Add in a hectic law school schedule and I didn't like the picture I was painting of the next three years. The go-where-you-wanna-practice issue was a big one because there's a strong chance I want to come back to CA but I think I'll be fine as long as I study hard and put a little more effort into networking and job searching. And who knows, maybe I'll want to stay in TX? Oh, and Vince Young is my hero.
