Additional info & updates

I included an lsat addendum in which I explained my history of underperforming on standardized tests, using my act score as an example. At the same time, I emphasized my academic success in college despite my low act score. I initially debated on whether or not to include one. So I read up on when to use one and when not to, and I felt it would help give me a voice.

4/13 - University of Colorado offered me a spot on their "priority waitlist." I didn't know any law schools had something like that, but it seems favorable.

4/18 - After taking a trip to Quinnipiac University, they have increased my scholarship from $10,000 to $15000.

4/25 - University of Florida is the 7th school to waitlist me, so I'm using this time to be diligent with LOCIs and opportunities to expand my resume over the summer. All in all, I have been pleasantly surprised how this admissions cycle is turning out. Now, I just need to keep applying myself and fingers crossed for UF!

6/14 - I'm thrilled about getting accepted to University of Maryland Law, and admissions told me I'll get more information via email and in the mail with scholarship details! I updated them in the morning with my volunteer work, and I got accepted off the waitlist in the afternoon. That's either a remarkable coincidence or my LOCI/monthly updates paid off.

6/16 - I got my acceptance to University of Wisconsin Law via email today. They're offering me a substantial scholarship. I'm still in awe. I think I better start investing in some winter clothes!

Wisconsin waitlist

Congrats on Wisconsin! Did you do any followup in an effort to get off Wisconsin waitlist? Waitlisted myself :(

Hey, thank you and sorry for getting back to you so late! I sent a LOCI with updated info of what I did from the time my application completed to getting waitlisted (around 2 months) and then emailed admissions another update in June. Following up on the waitlist is essential, and I gave updates monthly at all my waitlist schools. Hope this helps and feel free to message me if you have any other questions! Good luck!
