Additional info & updates

2nd time Applicant
Re-taking the LSAT this October, schools very much subject to change at that time

2010-2011 Cycle: Rejected-Harvard, Penn, NYU,
WL-Northwestern, American, Georgetown, Duke, Columbia
Accepted-Temple (30k/yr)

Will be keeping fairly careful records, LSN has been very helpful to me; would like to pay it forward.

10/31-Like thousands of other applicants, pretty much paralyzed waiting for Sandy/LSAC to release scores. Haven't been as diligent on prepping PS/Why Xs. If I'm being honest it's hard to get motivated without an updated LSAT number. I'm sure many of you are in the same boat, so good luck everyone!

11/2-Disappointing LSAT score. It appears 169 will be the top number. While I'm pretty internally crushed, there isn't a lot for me to do, except move forward. Applications changed accordingly.

2/7-had some health issues crop up in November/December and things fell behind, BUT into OSU today! Hopefully more decisions will roll in soon

2/13-In at GWU....14 days after I submitted. That turn around is blowing my mind! I'm really delighted to be admitted though. Haven't heard anything from OSU in terms of $$$ though my status checker claims something is in the mail. Glad this cycle is rolling well so far, long way to go though!

2/14-Received via email 14k/year Leadership Scholarship, which translates to roughly 50% in-state tuition

2/20-Michigan acceptance the day after NU hold is an amazing feeling. Huge weight lifted off of my shoulders.

2/23-Small envelope from Georgetown...in! First repeat application from 2010-2011 I was accepted to and included a handwritten note from Dean Cornblatt referencing that. Nice touch, feels great.

2/25-$75K from GWU (25/year, roughly translates to 1/3 of total COA)

3/27-Over a month later, finally some movement! Admitted to Fordham yesterday, received $30k/year merit scholarship today. It would be hard to overstate how much I want to be on the East Coast and that definitely doesn't help make my decision easier...

4/24-BU sent me at email with scholarship money...3 days after I withdrew. Not impressed with their office at all (obviously)

4/29-Cornell sent me my FA award 1 business day after their deposit deadline had passed. I had also withdrawn several days earlier. Definitely frustrating

5/16-Officially moved from a hold to the waitlist by NU. Ironically my entire application was tailored specifically to them and I was 100% prepared to pay sticker.

how was the temple Financial Aid process? I'm assuming you got around a full ride. I'm a Temple alum and applying there as well as T14 schools. The financial incentive makes me want to strongly consider it. any insight you could provide would be great, thanks!
