Additional info & updates

11/25: Accepted to Santa Clara by email; letter with scholarship offer arrived several days later

Georgetown:
12/03: Interview Request from Georgetown

Duke:
12/03: Accepted to Duke via Priority Track -- stuck with 10 days even with the 10 days including Thanksgiving!

UCLA:
12/07: Accepted to UCLA via phone call!

UVA:
12/14: Invited to Interview
12/16: Interviewed with Jennifer Hulvey (she is very nice and easy to talk to)
12/17: In at UVA via Status Checker (and through an email from Dean Cordel an hour later)

Michigan:
1/6: Accepted via email (the email indicated that the status checker would have shown my acceptance the night before)

UT Austin:
1/8: Accepted via phone call from Samuel Riley

.... and then the cycle became chaos. Upon my visit to UVA, I sat down and negotiated with an admissions officer. I was offered no money, but ultimately solicited a significant offer (see above) on the condition that I defer for a year. If you have questions about how this all went down or how I proceeded with negotiations from there, PM me.

Good luck with your apps. I hope to have similar numbers, sadly I also fecked up my freshman year, but i've got a strong upward trend now as well. Will you post scholarship info as you get it?

I'll likely withhold the posting of scholarship information until that is all sorted out. Thank you for the kind words, and best of luck to you as well!
