Extra Curricular Information

During college I observed a family law facilitator's office for research purposes and wrote an essay on how her free services benefit her clients who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford lawyers.

For my senior thesis I presented a way to reform putative father registries in order to provide unmarried men greater ability to contest the adoption of their children in cases of attempted adoption without their consent. The thesis was designed to emulate a law review article and legal research methods, citations and format were used.

Additional info & updates

4/11/07 Received a package from IU Bloomington and inside is a notification of my $25,500 scholarship. Woo hoo! It's contingent on maintaining a 3.0 but that doesn't sound too hard. If I get rejected from the University of Minnesota I'll be a Hoosier next year.

Still Considering Options

I'm almost 99% sure that I'm not going to UK but thanks for the congrats anyways, and congrats to you, it's a great school! Right now my top schools are Temple, IU Bloomington, and Alabama. Still waiting for responses from the latter two, just my luck that they seem to be really slow in their acceptances...

Just got in at UI Bloomington Law!!

I just got in at UI Bloomington! I'll definitely be attending unless I get in at the University of Minnesota, which I have a pretty slim chance at. For all who will be attending UI Bloomington, see you this fall!

yeah I wasn't so sure about Temple eithe

Temple is a great school but it didn't seem like a good fit for me either, because I don't really like the idea of living in Philly. I was also sad to withdraw from Temple because it was the first school I really wanted to go to that I got into. Good luck at UK, wishing all the best!

Already Withdrawn!

I've already withdrawn from GSU and Santa Clara, not that it would have actually changed anything. Please stop posting withdraw messages, I've already withdrawn from everywhere, good luck to those of you on wait lists!
