Well, it's grant money so not merit-based but need-based. HYS don't offer merit aid, I believe. Apparently, it's a pretty good sum for HLS though. Wanted to put it up there in case people wondered about financial aid. Hope this helps!

Thanks! I think softs definitely did matter for me. I actually also applied to the other top 3 schools, but I haven't updated them yet since I haven't heard anything back. Will do so once the cycle's over. Also, I think you've got a great chance with your amazing GPA. Definitely not true that sub-25th percentile LSATs are only for URMs.
