ADDITIONAL INFO & UPDATES

NOTE: law school #'s are their rank from 2017 list.

***Returning to school after 25 years of teaching HS and college students. Want to advocate for deaf people in America with their equal accessibility under ADA. Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL). Hoping to get into a hybrid or in-class JD program on a full ride.

Best offer as of 2/4/19: $177,000 from St. John's in Queens, NY! ***but need a 2.8 to keep!***

2/12/19: FULL RIDE at FIU! Only need 2.5 and their tuition is cheap.

2/26/19: FULL RIDE with only 2.0 needed for Faulkner Law. BEST ONE yet! Waiting for a few others first before deciding.

2/27/19: COOLEY FULL RIDE!!!

3/15/19: my head is spinning now! so many scholarship offers, some conditional and some not. Varying amounts. Just a wild ride. Need to make a decision SOON. Be wary of conditional offers. For example, just got one from Touro for $120,000 but need at least a 3.15 out of 4.33 (almost 60% lose their scholarship after 1L so that is not good, as they are #4 for the highest percentage of students losing their aid)

NOTE! Hybrid programs are STINGY with scholarships! For instance, Hamline gave $130,000 to a couple of applicants with slightly lower stats than mine (LSAT/GPA) while I got only $70,000! Same with University of Dayton. That is *NOT* right at all.

Did you apply to Syracuse's JDi program? If so, is your scholarship amount per year or total? Thanks!
