Extra Curricular Information

I was an active member of Feminsts of Smith Unite, a campus organization, for all four undergraduate years. I maintained and edited the blog (which can be found at http://smithfeminists.blogspot.com/) for this organization during the years 2008 and 2009. With this organization, I attended the Women, Action and Media Conference in March, 2008 in Boston.

I was also an active member of Global Action Against Poverty Everywhere, another campus organization, and have attended lectures with them about several international human rights issues such as women's education in Afghanistan, landmines and genocide in Darfur. I discuss more about this in my personal statement.

Additional info & updates

I received a grant from the Weiden Fund to study Roman archaeology in Tuscany for the summer of 2009. I hope to either go into international law, museum law or human rights law.

In my addendum, I explained that I have a learning disability known as dysgraphia. Although I was declassified for it in middle school, it still effects me to a certain extent.
