was about to go to American at sticker before my June retake...needless to say, this cycle has gone MUCH better

WL at Duke and have now heard back from all of my schools. Ironcially, Duke was the first application I sent and went complete at and the last I heard from.....

And then there were only a few....whole bunch of withdraws, almost got it narrowed down
Its official, I'm going to Michigan! The Cornell money was tempting, but UMich is definitely the right school for me. Extremely excited and can't believe that waiting 1 year has resulted in me going from deposited at American to attending UMich!

I honestly can't remember exactly when, but I want to say early/mid October. I submitted the app on the first day I could.

Any idea why UT-Austin didn't work out? They're my top priority, and they deferred me to regular decision.

Yep, I'm from Texas. I'm certainly pleased with the Vandy acceptance and the W&M money, but that UT application is one I'm really anxious about. Anything else in the T14 is just gravy to me, but I sent around tons of apps anyway just to see what happens.

Thanks about UT. Everything's definitely gravy from here, as UT's probably where I'll end up. Funny enough, I picked up a U. of Chicago acceptance yesterday as well, and the cycle's looking much brighter all of the sudden. Starting out with a few rejections wasn't fun at all.
