Extra Curricular Information

Would expect my extracurriculars and softs are mostly average for T-14's --nothing very flashy

Took medical withdrawals from college twice and, during those withdrawals, had a bad semester at community college - hence the 3.38 LSAC GPA but the 3.72 from UVA. Had several 3.7+ semesters at Uni after that community college semester. It's an odd situation, so we'll have to see how it pans out. I have no idea what will happen.

12-5: In at W&L with $$, invited to interview at GULC

12-11: Waitlist at George Washington Law >.< Ah well, hopefully it's just YP.

12-18: In at Berk. Was a bit worried after the GW waitlist but at least this shows my app might get through some t-14's. That's a lot of pressure off my shoulders now.

1-10: Priority waitlist at Georgetown. Is it yield protection? I have no idea, but I still feel pretty confident given that Berkeley admitted me. I'll just keep blaming the waitlists on YP.

1-21: In at Northwestern and I got an email for an interview at UVA. Super pumped! Would love to be a Hoo again.

1-22: WL at Chicago. Bummer! But I'm pretty happy with how this cycle is turning out. Good vibes

1-24: Wahoo freakin' wa! Let's goooo

1-28: Penn waitlist. Ouch! Penn is definitely one of the schools I was most excited about. That sucks. Maybe there's still a chance I'll get in off the waitlist. We'll see.

2-7: Michigan WL

2-18: Cornell dong, somewhat expected because they invited me to a Kira interview and I never did it. I think I just wasn't very interested in them after the UVA, Berk, and Northwestern acceptances.

3-5: I got a $18k/yr scholly at UVA!

4-24: UVA increased my scholarship to 25k/yr and didn't tell me. I have no idea why. But I'll take it.

I'm depositing at UVA and am pretty happy about it. Only thing that could tempt me away is (maybe) Harvard, I loved Penn when I visited it but I just don't think there will be money for me if I make it off the WL.

Wahoowa folks! I'm coming back for round 2.

That waitlist has gotta be yield protection. They know you're gonna end up somewhere cooler!

Thanks! I think so too, someone with similar stats to me got WLed there today too so we're just blaming it on YP

Did you interview for UChi? I know their sticklers for GPAs; nevertheless, your waitlist surprised me! Hoping you finish strong, and congrats on all of your acceptances so far!

Much appreciated sonny! I did not receive an interview request for Chicago. I too hope this cycle finishes strong, but I'm very happy knowing I already have some great options to choose from. Congrats on your cycle too, it's looking like a great one!
