They let me know in the admissions email. I received a call from their dean of admissions back in February and he had a few questions concerning my GPA Addendum and told me that they were very interested in my application. I didn't hear back from them for a while until they emailed me my acceptance and the scholarship. Seriously considering going!
If you haven't heard about a scholarship for yourself, I'd suggest calling or writing an email to the admissions office and asking if there's anything they can do for you. You have a much better GPA than I do, I'd bet they'd help you out.

Anything from FSU?
No, not yet. I just sent them an email telling them they're one of my top choices and that I'm still very interested in them. Kind of sucks, I would love to go there.
Hey Congrats! When did you apply to FIU and did they place you on the waitlist before sending acceptance?
Thanks! I'm not sure if they placed me on wait list. I got a letter from them a while back saying they'd recieved more applications than they had expected and basically that I shouldn't worry. But it didn't say wait list or mention it at all. Then I got accepted by phone call. I applied back in late January but I didn't go complete under mid Feb when the Feb 7 LSAT came out.
