- First decision in. Waitlisted at Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. Better than a flat out denial.

-Invited to participate in Nova Southeastern AAMPLE Program.

- Invited to online interview at New York Law School

- Accepted to Touro Law Center with a $9000 scholarship.

- Wait-listed at the Maryland Law. It's one of my Top Choices so I will be sending an LOCI shortly.

- First Denial- Houston

- My status checker at St. John's went blank on 4/13/2012. Does anyone know what that means?

- Yipee! I got invited to St. John's University School of Law Summer Institute Special Admissions Program. Only 30 students are invited and St. John's is also one of my top choices. I have some decisions to make. :-)

- Sent in my LOCI to Maryland Carey Law. *fingers crossed*

-Finally my app at Hofstra is with the Committee.

-Accepted to Phoenix Law today.

- Wait-listed at FAMU Law & Rejected at Syracuse & University of Miami. It looks like I'll be doing that Summer Institute Program at St. John's Law.

- Off the Wait-list at FAMU. WooHoo! I got admitted! Waiting to see if I get any scholarship money. -___-

-Wait-listed at Hofstra Part-Time! I already sent in my LOCI and did their wait-list survey. Now I can only hope for the best.

- The date on my status checker changed to 5/16/2012 at Southwestern Los Angeles. My Status however still says 'File Complete and In Review.' SIGH the wait continues.

- My Loyola Los Angeles decision is in the mail according to status checker. Yikes! I applied for Part-Time evening.

- Denied at San Francisco

- Still playing the waiting game at Hofstra and Maryland.

- Currently enrolled in St. John's Law Summer Institute.

June 25, 2012- I got accepted off the waitlist at University of Maryland School of Law! First Tier! Top 40! I'm excited and will be going there!

August 20, 2012- Orientation at Maryland Carey Law.

August 22, 2012- Started classes at Maryland Carey Law

and the most successful attorney I have worked with is a Thomas Cooley Grad. He is consistantly ranked as a Super Lawyer and a Rising Star. He employs T14 grads, but all the firm's clients want him. These children who bash Thomas Cooley online have no idea how the real world works! Congrats on your acceptance. You can be an exceptional attorney with an education from Cooley.

I was informed today that CLEO has entered a partnership with Cooley Law at Auburn Hills to admit a few students from the 2010 CLEO Summer Institutes. Seats are open on a first come first serve basis I guess for those that applied to CLEO but did not get in. You maybe able to attend the CLEO Summer Institute and interview for a spot with another school. You should give them a call in the AM for more info. Good Luck and God Bless.

I'm a little late on my response but Thank You funkmaster04. If this cycle does not go as well as I'd like I will begin preparing for the October test. Hopefully, to at least get into some conditional programs at some reputable schools so I can prove myself.

Thank you for your kind words. I wish you the very best in your cycle too. I hope you get into the Summer Institute Program! I already placed my deposit so I'm ready to prove myself beyond the numbers. I don't know anyone who is going but I went to St. John's for undergrad so I know a few of my former classmates who now go to the law school.

I think you'll be invited if your application is strong everywhere else except for the LSAT. That's what I was told. Based on their invitation letter, about 30 people are considered for the Summer Institute Program. It starts in 2 weeks.

Did your status on your application changed for St. John's once you got accepted to the Summer Institute Program? Does it say you were accepted to the school? Just wondering since according to the school's website acceptance to the school is based on a student doing well in the Summer Institute. I applied to the Summer Institute and haven't heard anything. I checked my application status online and my application hasn't gone into review. Yet, I did receive an email from the school last month stating that I would be considered for the program. I called the school and they told me letters went out last week. I am so stressed to find out either way. If I didn't get accepted into the Summer Institute they could at least send me a rejection letter or put something on my status checker. I just want the waiting to be over. Good luck to you, I wish you all the best. Please keep your page updated at least up until you start school in the Fall, lol. You are my inspiration, you give me hope. Thanks.

Aww Thank you! I will definitely keep it updated. My cycle has been a psychological roller coaster. My LSAT is subpar but I know that the rest of my application is very strong. My status checker went blank but the date changed. It did not say whether I was Admitted, Waitlisted or Denied. Shortly after, I got a small letter via snail mail- I was like: 'Here we go again, another one of these' but they accepted me to Summer Institute. I'm still hoping to get off some waitlists but Summer Institute starts in a few weeks. Did you apply anywhere else? If you'd like you can send me a private message.

Thanks for answering my questions, I just don't know what to think at this point. I hate the waiting and the feeling of uncertainty. I applied to five schools, and got rejected from two already. I am still waiting for 3 schools to get back to me one of which includes St. John's. I am hoping to get in somewhere. I didn't apply to any schools outside of the NYC area. I can't afford to give up my job and relocate somewhere else, but now I'm wondering..... A few schools outside of the NYC area had reached out to me, but it wasn't feasible to me. I will probably send you a private message going into more details over the weekend. I actually have an account on here, I just need to find the information, lol.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I didn't get invited to the Summer Institute. Good luck to you and please keep your page updated. I look forward to hearing all about your experiences at the Summer Institute and beyond. As for me, I will probably take the LSAT again in October and try again for 2013.
