Hey, I'm North African as well and if you're arab OR berber OR not black, as in dark complected, you are considered white. You're not an URM but you can write a diversity statement on being Algerian or Libyan or an immigrant etc.
First, good luck on this cycle! Second, you and I share a common race, but what did you fill in on the application if you are north African. White and African American? I have had this question for awhile, but can never seem to find a straight answer, thanks!
