Additional info & updates

Given my LSAT definitely overperforming but I have strong recommendations and strong service programs to my name. Scholarship money is the total.

I guess a big plus for me was that I was able to graduate a semester early by taking more classes in sophomore and junior sems without doing any college courses in HS or during the summer and Winter

My advice to people is to apply no matter your numbers! Get a very good Personal Statement and write other prompts. Good Recommendations help.

Leaning Towards Cincinnati, Solid Job numbers, good job market!

But Waiting on Temple and Case before I make any final decisions.

Would love to go to Case because of their JD/LLM 3 years joint program. Will keep this site updated for any good or not so good news.

----------------------------------------

Final update and Decision:

After my acceptance at Villanova, Temple followed suit. I will be attending Temple this fall and I am really excited because I wasn't expecting to attend Law School this fall when I set out to apply giving my numbers.

With regret I have to withdraw from Cincinnati, they gave me a really generous offer, Temple offers more opportunities for the future.

Withdrew waitlist from Case, Pitt, UMD.

I guess a apart of me Wishes I could have done well in the LSAT a bit more, who knows what would have happened. Nonetheless I am grateful.

Please let me know I there are any questions. Will update this profile about my journey during law school. EXCITED!!!!!

--------------

Been accepted to Illinois and have been offered 20,000. My head is spinning, this has changed everything.

Did you only take the LSAT once? I am taking it June 12 and am really banking on that because I tanked my GPA my Fresh and Soph years. I am impressed with the schools you got accepted to! Looks like you chose Temple?

Thank you. Yes I took the lsat only once but I would definitely have taking it again if I did not get to temple. But to my surprise I really performed well in this cycle and had no rejections. I believe a major part was down to my personal statement. I got remarks about from all the schools, even the ones I was waitlisted at. Get a very good personal statement in with a solid structure and a narrative that explains your drive for becoming a lawyer. If you need an addendum about your GPA in school get that one in too, trust me it helps a lot. I hope the test went well. If you have anymore questions let me know.
