Heh, our numbers. Doesn't it seem like things would be so much better if we'd just gotten slightly higher grades in undergrad? Good luck with your cycle!

Good luck to you, too!

No kidding we have similar numbers! I'm glad you found me; I'll be watching your progress too.

Good luck!

Hey, we do have very similar numbers.:) Good luck on your cycle!

Hey, congrats on the acceptances. I noticed we have almost the same numbers (and the same major!) and was just curious what your extra curriculars were like.

Tough Decision

Hi HenryDavid! I'm carrowd3 on TLS. I see your cycle is almost over. If I were in your shoes, I would take the GW offer in a heartbeat. The full scholly at Stetson is tempting, but I think that the debt would be worth it to go to GW. Have you receieved your GULC letter yet? It took my rejection 13 calendar days to come after I went to decision.

BU

Wow! That is a terrific option with the money from BU. Congratulations for having a difficult choice to make! Maybe I can beg for your Stetson stipend :)

a lot of things, I guess. Money, visiting some of my top choice schools, where I get in out of my remaining applications, where my SO can move.. I don't know what's going to happen at this point. :/ Good luck with the rest of your cycle! What are your top choices?

my SO is graduating (as am I) and will be looking for actuary work.. I don't have any doubt that he'll be able to find work (graduating with 3 degrees, a 4.0, and two necessary exams passed-- exemplary!) but he does need to be in a bigger area (IE a city) to find a job. they are located in insurance firms, generally. I'm starting to think I REALLY want to go to Cornell if I get in and that may not be an option that comes with my SO.. I don't see him finding work in Ithaca. Syracuse isn't too far but.. he doesn't want to be there, particularly. It makes things very confusing. We're not engaged/married.. but we've been together for about five years. What to do, what to do... People say not to let a SO factor in, but this isn't some short term fling. ARGH. Boston U is pretty much my safety option at this point (assuming they call me sometime soon :P) as it will be workable for both of us.. But if I get into Cornell, it'll be hard to turn down.

if Stetson seems right for you (and you want to stay in FL) then that sounds great.. and graduating without debt will be SO important in this economy... good luck with the rest! I can't wait till all the answers are in.
