Sent majority of apps in by end of September.

Tried to make them as clean as possible, but some definite uncertainty regarding what to leave blank and what sections should be filled in just for the sake of being completed.

Only did the optional essays that I thought were truly relevant to my application (so only a few). Learned that adcomms tend to only have 5-10 minutes allotted per application and didn't want to pull their attention away from the sections I had truly polished (PS, resume, etc). Thought that including many optional essays would simply dilute those sections that I had worked hard on...

February 22 - Got into NYU recently after being held from the ED pool (to RD) in late December.

Plenty of WLs. A little bit of money from Michigan. Haven't been on top of the rest because I've been out of the country for the last six months, but NYU was a dream come true.

Our numbers are similar so good luck to both of us with our imbalanced numbers. I look forward to seeing ur results as I presume they will be a foreshadowing of mine.
