Additional info & updates

All scholarships are 3 year totals, all came with stipulation of either a 3.0, 2.9 GPA or top half of class after each spring quarter in order to keep the money for the following year.

as of now chapman is 1st choice, being it offered the most money, has a 2.9 GPA stip, and is in orange county. However, the 36% employment statistic they have does worry me.

Rejected at Irvine, it was definitely my biggest reach school so no surprise there...

Got accepted to U of A, got the fin aid info two weeks latter in the mail. The interesting thing about their scholarship is that it is 20k guaranteed for each year. This is the first guaranteed through 3 years scholarship I have gotten from a school, but I'm thinking maybe its because I'm an out of state student. The letter said it would be reduced if my tuition goes down, and I'm guessing that would be when I establish residency. Anyway they have moved up to my second choice, but I'm still thinking Chapman.

I officially decided to take the full tuition at Chapman and have already sent in my seat deposit before the 4/15 deadline. Very excited and motivated now that I know where I am going. It came down to staying in So Cal vs moving 9 hours away to Tuscon, so I decided to stay and take the tuition money.

4/27 Finally received my acceptance to ASU haha a little late but an acceptance is an acceptance. Got their financial aid info on 5/12, they offered me 25000 for the first year and 15000 for the 2nd. If I had received this info a little earlier it would have been a tough choice deciding between ASU and Chapman, but I already gave Chapman my seat deposit and signed a lease on an apartment in Orange. Go Panthers! lol
