Additional info & updates

** Scholarship amounts are three year totals **

10/23/08: Got my first acceptance today at UM. It feels very good to have an acceptance so early in the cycle.

11/20/08: WL at Fordham. Checked Fordham's online status checker (it had become a somewhat religious habit) and they indicated that my file had been waitlisted. Given my low LSAT I am actually somewhat pleased.

12/17/08: Yesterday I got an email from UMiami congratulating me and stating that I was awarded a scholarship. Today the letter arrived. $23,000 per year, very nice.

12/19/08: Just got an acceptance letter from St John's. Very excited about the $75,000 scholarship @ $25,000 per year. I really wish St John's had on campus housing, though, because I don't particularly want to live in queens.

1/20/09: Wait listed at Cardozo today. Unfortunate, as I had an opportunity to tour the campus and really loved the facility and the programs they offer.

2/6/09: Accepted at NYLS with $30,000 Trustee Scholarship. The caveat, though, is the requirement to remain in the top 15% of the class.

3/8/09: Accepted at Cardozo for their May entry program! Very excited, but with the cost of living in NYC coupled with full tuition, it's a tough decision...

Thank you. I posted what it was about in my additional comment area. I'm just really hoping to get a scholarship from Georgia.

Florida??

is there any reason you can think of that that you were rejected from Florida?? I thought with your numbers you would have been at least put on a waitlist considering last year's graphs

New York got back pretty quick. How long did it take? You have good numbers-- it is my 2nd choice and boy would I like your scholarship lol. Well good luck with the rest of your cycle!
