Additional info & updates

WUSTL
10/28 - Interview request
11/10 - Interview. Feel free to PM me if you want details! I think it went very well.
11/12 - Accepted via email
11/26 - Awarded full tuition scholly via email
3/11 - Awarded Dean's Fellowship. Full tuition + faculty and alumnus mentor + guaranteed RA position. Haven't had any contact with WUSTL since they awarded me full tuition on 11/26 Weird, but awesome.

GEORGETOWN
11/6 - Accepted via snail mail. Postmarked 11/3. No interview request, no extra essay. First acceptance, and it's truly an amazing feeling!
2/4 - Received email asking for my interest in merit scholarship. Asked them to match or exceed the Texas offer.
2/20 - Received second scholarship feeler email asking further info about why Georgetown. Taking it as a good sign.
3/2 - Awarded $105,000 via email. This was a little more than what I asked for, and I'm still shocked. I think I outperformed what my numbers would predict, and I think my reply to the second scholly feeler email is the reason why. PM me for details!
3/24 - Increased my scholly to $120K after I informed them of the Dean's Fellow from WUSTL!! Looks like this is where I'll end up unless NYU decides to increase their offer.
4/20 - Georgetown increased their offer again to $135,000 after I informed them of Duke's offer!!! Was going to attend anyway, but wanted just a little more money to sweeten the deal. NEVER STOP NEGOTIATING 0Ls. So happy to attend this fall.

DUKE
11/9 - Accepted via email on the 10th day at 9:20 PM.
12/2 - received scholarship application email and sent in Scholarship Application Form
1/8 - Scholarship interview. Went well I think. Was very short (15min). Only asked 3 questions: Why Duke, What will you do at Duke to enhance the community, What do you want the committee to know about your financial situation.
2/11 - Received $54,000 scholarship via snail mail. Postmarked 2/5
3/30 - Duke increased their offer to $67,500 in response to Georgetown's offer. Even though Duke's COL is so much cheaper, I don't think this is enough to get me away from Georgetown's offer, and will likely withdrawal soon. Also, I left Admitted Students Day pretty underwhelmed, so that doesn't help/

CHICAGO
11/12 - interview request
12/2 - withdrew out of courtesy. Realized this school was not for me while prepping for my interview, and the NYU acceptance was the final nail.

MINNESOTA
11/26 - Accepted via phone call
12/4 - Awarded full scholarship with acceptance package

NYU
12/2 - Accepted via ASW (12/1) and phone call. I really think it was my Why essay that sealed the deal; I had something to say. PM me if you want details.
2/22 - Awarded $25,000 via email!!! NYU has always been my first choice/pipe dream, and I could't be happier. Wasn't expecting any money, and am beyond ecstatic.
4/7 - NYU denied the appeal of my financial aid package. Can't pay $200K to attend, forced to withdraw. Georgetown it is

GEORGE WASHINGTON
12/2 - Accepted via email
1/30 - Awarded $120,000 via email

UF
12/18 - Admitted via snail mail. Scholarship came with acceptance packet.

UCLA
1/6 - FINALLY after over 2 months of silence I received an interview request. Happened the day after I notified them of an update to my address, so maybe I just reminded them I existed.
1/12 - Accepted at the end of my interview! Very thrilled. Interviewer said he would recommend me for a "sizable" scholarship!!
2/27 - Awarded $97,500 via email

UVA
1/8 - Waitlisted via email. Unsurprising, as I didn't write a why essay, nor did I give a Skype ID to interview with on my application --> stupid move I have regretted for 3 months

BERKELEY
1/13 - Pushed to faculty review via email
2/6 - in via email!

BOSTON U
1/15 - Accepted via phone call
2/2 - Awarded $35,000/year via snail mail. Letter postmarked 1/23

TEXAS

2/2 - awarded 18k/yr and in state tution expedition via email. Totals to $102K

COLUMBIA
3/2 - held via email. Said I should hear by late April

HARVARD
