MS in Management of Information Systems

11/16/2011 - Checked my status at William & Mary and saw that an acceptance packet was sent on November 14th. Then, I received an official congratulatory email.

11/30/2011 - Received an email from Texas stating that my application would be held for a second review during general admission.

12/19/2011 - Checked online status at Cornell, and it stated "Admission Denied".

01/06/2012 - Received a rejection email from Harvard. Glad to finally hear something.

01/10/2012 - Received a rejection email from Georgetown.

01/19/2012 - Checked online status at Washington and Lee, and I was waitlisted.

01/27/2012 - Checked online status at Houston, and I have been admitted.

01/31/2012 - Checked online status at SMU, and I was held at SMU. I can only laugh at that.

I talked to the Director of Admissions at Virgina and changed my application to the Binding Decision option.

02/02/2012 - I had a phone interview with the Dean of Admissions at Virginia, and she accepted me over the phone. That's where I'm attending, and the cycle is over!

02/05/2012 - I received a 4 AM email from Texas notifying me of a rejection. Hearing from Texas in the early hours is always a bad thing, but they're too little too late.

02/06/2012 - I received my admissions packet in the mail today from Virginia. I am excited about attending next year.

02/09/2012 - Checked online status at Baylor, and a decision letter was mailed today.

I received a rejection letter in the mail from Columbia this afternoon.

02/10/2012 - Checked online status at Vanderbilt, and a decision letter was mailed.

I received a letter in the mail from Baylor saying they did not have any seats left for the Fall 2012 term. However, they said they would accept me for the Spring 2013 term if I applied.

02/16/2012 - I received a letter from Vanderbilt today that said I had been waitlisted.

I was held at Texas too! Hope we don't get wait listed after all this!
