Extra Curricular Information

Graduated with low GPA. Spent 6 years in Air Force Reserves. Went on to graduate with an MBA (3.3 GPA). Several years of management experience at Fortune 500 company. Married, no kids. Done a variety of charity work in my life. Overall strong soft factors.

Took the LSAT a second time and scored much lower, this was due to personal reasons. I believe schools did not factor that second LSAT based on the acceptances and money offered.

Additional info & updates

All scholarships are per year.

Being debt averse is a HUGE priority for my wife and I, which in effect decided our school choices.

LSU gave me Military In-state Tuition from a bill passed in LA. That is saving around 17k per year in addition to my scholarship.

Case Western gave me an additional 5,000 off the first year.

Also my wife if planning on attending law school in the future, so the school choices are based on logical odds that we both can get into.

I had a bigger selection of schools, however, some schools had dismal stats for what we were looking for.

I hope this helps.

My wife and I decided to attend LSU since they can provide us with a great program, low debt, and high employment rate.
