5/01: Decision rendered at Houston via status checker.

5/07: Rejected at Houston via thin white envelope.

5/11: Received notice from SMU via status checker that I am wait-listed.

5/12: Called SMU admissions to discuss wait-list status. Apparently, the wait-list is unranked, and they will know more about available spots after the June 1 tuition deposit deadline.

5/19: Sent LOCI to SMU.

5/20: Sent LOCI to Denver. I'd rather be at SMU, but Denver is a good choice for me too.

5/21: Finally received the wait-list letter from SMU.

5/26: Received a very unexpected call from Denver today; they do not expect to pull wait-listed applicants for the full time program at all but they offered me a seat in the part time program. Interesting twist.

6/1: Thought about part time program at Denver all weekend. Going part time definitely wasn't my first choice, but it is 75% of the classes as full time and with a nice evening schedule. I can even work if I want, and the first year tuition is a lot easier to stomach. I accepted the seat, hooray!
