Hi numbers twin! Your acceptance to Michigan gives me hope. How do you think your softs are? Have you interviewed anywhere else so far?

Thursday, June 08 2017 at 08:29 PM

Hi! I think they're pretty strong - I've been working full time since graduation, with promotions, etc and volunteer work, and was a college athlete (which supposedly is a plus?). I also visited campus in September before I applied. But, I just got the email telling me they're not giving me any $$$ off the bat, so tough decisions ahead! Re: interviews - I did an alum interview for Vandy, did the online for NW, and also got invited to a group interview for Georgetown and an online for Texas. What about you??

Just got into Michigan! Too bad about money; I'm expecting I'll hear the same thing. I've done all the same interviews so far, but I did an alumni one for GULC. I'm surprised you got waitlisted there.

Am I close enough to a stats twin to join the conversation here?? I am so envious of your acceptances. Been a very slow cycle for me. Good luck with the rest of it.

Definitely close enough! I think it's been a slower cycle for everyone. With the number of applications, everything seems to be taking longer. I'm sure you will hear good news soon!

Absolutely - splitters stick together! The slow rate of response by the big guys is starting to become draining, but I'm telling myself that February starts the home stretch. Hoping we can all ride some waves soon!
