Extra Curricular Information

Modest club affiliation (but some positions of leadership) and alot of academic honors. I also worked quite a bit as an undergrad and have some unique circumstances and life experience.

Additional info & updates

1/28/08- ACCEPTED AT UCONN!!! This was one of my faves going in. On a side note, I got accepted to both the FT and PT divisions, which is a surprise, since I figured I'd only have a real shot at the PT. Wow, still in shock. Won't see the actual letter until Saturday (my mom opened it at my home address) but she said it was in a regular envelope.

As far as the dings, don't know the all of the exact dates, I'll update as I go back and check. ND and BC were both really early because I applied EA. Berkeley had the nicest rejection if that's possible, lol. All of the rejections but Fordham were by thin snail mail letters. Fordham was through a "denied" message on the status checker. It was totally unexpected as my file was "complete" for like, two months. I guess the shock factor kind of helped because I wasn't expecting an answer when I checked my status.

I was wl'ed at Tulane, America and W & M. I withdrew from American and Tulane as I would have chosen UConn over them even if I was accepted. As far as W & M, I hear their waitlist is a mile long but I decided to stay on and see what happens.

I know I applied to a ton of schools. I didn't do nearly as good on the LSAT as I hoped (was practicing in the mid-160's) but I really don't have the time and energy to retake. Just keeping my fingers crossed and hoping all goes well!!!
