On getting into UIUC. Do you have any extra-curriculars/work experience/any other factors that may have helped you get in?

No, my ECs were modest at best. I did work during the year for most of the time I was in college. I believe I got in because I submitted an ED application, and every aspect was sharp. I also think my PS was strong, although somewhat abstract.

Kicking myself for not getting my apps in earlier. I went to UIUC for UG and loved it there and I\\\'d go back in a heartbeat. In state tuition is a definite plus. Now it\\\'s just a matter of keeping my fingers crossed and waiting for the phone to ring... Go Illini!
