2-24-17 Interview Request from Georgetown

After deliberating whether it was worth waiting to hear back from some of the higher ranked schools that I applied for, I have decided to go ahead and accept Emory's offer. A lot of my rationale is underpinned by familial and economic concerns. Overall, I am very happy with how things have panned out for me. Wish I could have done a little better on the LSAT, but what's done is done. I managed to improve 11 points from my first practice test. Nevertheless, I am thrilled with Emory. They have a great selection in international law, which is my primary interest; they also have excellent externship and clinical opportunities. When I set out on this journey, I had as my primary objective to just squeeze into the University of South Carolina (my home state). So, with that said, I am happy to have far surpassed my initial expectations. Best of luck to all of you who are still fighting the good fight, as well as those who are simply making up their minds.
