This is my second cycle. My first LSAT was horrible; I applied to four schools, waitlisted at three. Got accepted to one, but was charged with a DUI that was later dismissed, but not in time to avoid having my admission offer rescinded. I'm not applying there this cycle.

1-5: Stetson won't process my app until I provide a DMV record from fourteen years ago regarding two speeding tickets...but the DMV is giving me hassle about retrieving records that old! I'd rather go to UM anyway...

1-19: applied to UNLV this morning and got a phone call this afternoon! Seems my application is remembered from the waitlist last year. The interview went really well, and my interest in gaming law seems to have left a good impression...

1-20: in at UM! Now if I can find the money...

1-23: in at UNLV! Hopefully a scholarship is included in snail mail in a few days!

1-26: Scholarship offer from UNLV for 50% tuition; I'm not a resident, so first year its $17450 but second and third year are half of resident tuition (if I remain in the top third of the class).

2-7: Stetson app is finally complete; apparently supplemental information I sent via email never was received. All is well now.

UNLV here I come!
