Additional info & updates

1.14.10 - Priority Reserve at Duke. I've heard it isn't technically the waitlist, but it's pretty much the waitlist. I'm not terribly surprised--I didn't write a "Why Duke" and only applied when they sent me the priority track option.

1.23.10 - Received merit scholarship in the mail from Fordham. 10k per year over three years (30k) and no G.P.A. minimum requirement.

1.27.10 - Opened the mailbox to a lovely greenish/yellowish acceptance packet from Columbia!

2.12.10 - Received my packet from Temple that includes a full tuition scholarship for three years so long as i stay in the top half of the class. Not too shabby!

3.5.10 - Got two emails this morning: an acceptance from Northwestern and a rejection from Harvard. Didn't interview at NU - applied too late and couldn't get out to Chicago.

4.16.10 - It's been an interesting cycle. I've just officially put in my deposit, and will be at Columbia next year! CLS was my top choice from the start, so it seems like a great bit of luck that things worked out this way. If I had it to do over again, I definitely would have applied earlier in the cycle, which would have meant taking the LSAT in June.
