Additional info & updates

George Mason: Offered no money.

Pitt: Scholarship raised from $8,000 to $12,000 a year. Since I'm in-state, my tuition would cost about $6,000 a year at the current rate.

Washington & Lee: Offered $11,500 a year. They only gave me three days to make a decision. I withdrew my application.

Minnesota: $5,000 a year.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm trying to decide between Pitt and Minnesota. Most of my friends and family live in Pittsburgh and I'd like to work here after graduation (or, at least have the option to do so.) Pitt would also be a lot cheaper. One year at Minnesota would cost me several thousand more than all three years at Pitt. Minnesota's biggest advantage is its ranking: #19 to Pitt's #52, per the 2006 USNWR rankings. I visited Minneapolis a few years ago for a wedding. I really liked the city, although I was a bit intimidated by all of the building to building brigdes. Minnesota also has more and better clinical programs than Pitt.

I'd appreciate any advice.

You have yourself being rejected at Penn on 3/04/05, which hasn't even passed yet! What's the real date? Congrats on Pitt!
