Additional info & updates

Sent app to Tulsa on 9-1-12. Accepted via status checker on 9-17-12, and by mail three days later. Strange that they sent acceptance and scholarship letters together. 18k/year provided I maintain a 2.8gpa (I think that is median)

Accepted to Oklahoma City University School of Law on October 5th despite receiving an email from them saying that they wouldn't even begin making decisions until late October. Will post scholarship details when I recieve them. Very interested in this school if the money is right.
Received scholarship info from okcu law. 20,000 per year. Will be sending scholarship negotiation letter soon. Pretty sure I can get it raised 5 or 6 thousand per year.

Congrats on getting into Tulsa! I've applied there and have been doing some research. Beware of the scholarship, according to a thread on LSD, a 3.0 is only achieved by 25-35%

But a 2.8 is median right? The stipulation is 2.8, not a 3.0. Good luck with your cycle

According to their website (http://www.utulsa.edu/academics/colleges/college-of-law/Law%20Admission%20and%20Financial%20Aid/Tuition%20and%20Financial%20Aid/Scholarships.aspx), the average first year grade is 2.77. They say the median after the first year is 2.77. Why only tell the median after the first year? It seems deceptive. I haven't gotten my scholarship package yet but I'll let you know. Best of luck with OU!
