Researching and working on senior thesis for honors in the discipline (Political Philosophy) and graduation from the honors program: "The Presence and Persistence of Social Contract Theory in America"

I've pretty much come to terms with just how poorly I performed on the LSATs, but wasn't in a position to retake in December with the influx of back-loaded coursework and final examinations coming the week after. My preparation for the test was terrible, but I was scoring above my results in KAPLAN's practice tests, and diagnosed my weaknesses from them in studying the book. I've only applied to reach schools because, despite my horrendous score, I believe I have an otherwise strong application and someplace might want to give me a shot. Speaking realistically though (especially given my GPA and splitter-like status), I'm prepared to be denied everywhere, take a year to intern or get experience, and try again; and that would be okay.

03/30/2009 - I don't care anymore

02/17/2009 - So, I've avoided this website for the last month and have been really trying to just chill out and let what's meant to be happen, it's worked to a degree, but at the same time, these small envelopes in the mail are tough to handle, I WANT TO HEAR BACK FROM PENN STATE

01/12/2009 - waitlisted at Northeastern, was expecting the worst when I saw the small envelope in the mailbox, it's a middle-of-the-road decision that I can deal with (NU being my first school to hear back from), it's just hard because it's a school I'd really like to go to

01/05/2009 - called Northeastern and they said my app was still in with the committee, but I should be hearing in a few days
- called PSU and they said to expect by mail (possibly by e-mail)
- Villanova's status checker still reads "complete"
- have not gotten "complete" confirmation from any other school, I assume they are waiting on LSDAS reports and LORs
