Future prosecutor planning to study criminal law, trial advocacy, and tribal law. Hoping for ASU or UGA. Family connection to KU. URM is for being LGBTQA+. (Username unrelated to Louis DeJoy, save the post office). Scholarships are total amount.
3/31/21 - Got my rejection email from UNC today, took them long enough lol. Very excited to be attending the University of Arizona! Never pictured making it to a top 50 school when I got my 146 and/or my absent.
3/16/21 - Waitlisted at UGA yesterday. I was *not* interviewed, its not letting me update correctly.
02/07/21 - ASU rejected my scholarship renegotiation request, got back to me very quickly. Just submitted my first seat deposit for UArizona, genuinely excited about going there this fall. I will update when/if UGA or UNC makes a decision, but we'll see if that happens.
12/04/20 - Got a call from head of recruiting about the KU acceptance. And saw my University of Arizona financial offer uploaded to my admit portal last night. Seriously considering it, its 75% tuition.
11/30/20 - A few updates, just saw my acceptance email from UA. No financial offer indicated at this time, I'm assuming one is forthcoming. I got an email from UNC letting me know that I have passed the initial review, worded much more clearly and positively than the UGA one. And finally, I had an admitted student's visit at ASU earlier this month. I am pretty sold on the school at this point, and I'm going to renegotiate my scholarship.
11/14/20 - Received an email from UGA last night saying my app has been reviewed but they are not ready to decide and will review it again in the coming months. The wording was vague, and "waitlisted" was not used, but we'll see what happens.
09/04/20 - Received my first acceptance from ASU, via a video message from the dean and several emails. I'm very excited.
07/30/20 - Excellent news! I received my LSAT score today and it was a 160. As for more about my LSAT history, I have three other scores, 146, a personal canceled score, and unfortunately an absent, which is a long story. I am a recent college graduate and was a member in and an exec on the mock trial team, an LGBTQA+ campus organization, and in an academic fraternity. Sending out applications ASAP.
07/23/20 - Hello all. If you have some less than optimal LSAT scores, keep an eye on me! I took the LSAT Flex in July and I'm getting my score soon, and I am anticipating my next score to be much better. Will post more about test history when I get the score.
Congrats!! Was your application on hold from UNC/ were you waitlisted? Thanks for sharing your information!
