I was scrolling through my old emails and realized that the University of Michigan offered to put me on their wait-list 11 days ago. I did apply to the school about 2 weeks past their priority deadline, so I'm surprised that they didn't outright reject me. I do know they were very interested in me as a candidate. They were the first school to mail me a packet and personally signed off on a letter in that packet. However, I think I'm going to stay in New York even if they do accept me.
