Additional info & updates

No idea why my cycle has been so amazing!

Non-URM, very strong softs but nothing mind-blowing. So amazingly lucky!

Update 03/11/2015: Big nothing to NYU

Update 03/31/2015: $0 to $25,000 to NYU, $30k if I go the public route? No much better than the $0, but there you have it.

Update April: UChi upped from $45,000 to $60,000 against Northwestern's offer.

Update May: Northwestern held firm against Chicago's $45,000 and still held firm against the increase to $60,000.

Didn't have Columbia or Georgetown's scholarship information submitted before I accepted my spot at NW, so no information from either.

Ended up going with Northwestern because I have an abiding love <3

You should leverage UChi's scholly in a letter to NYU seeking a comparable offer if you're aiming for NYC; They've been known to do a lot (financially) to try and poach UChi's students

Thanks Hancock. To be honest, NYU was just a leverage school for me-- UChi is my true love. It would be nice to have an NYU scholly against Chicago though, so I may try that. Looks like we're number twins, but you have a better explanation for low GPA and a more compelling background than me. I hope your cycle goes as well or better than mine! It's been a serious, and welcome, surprise.
