2/3 - Sent out my 6 applications, late in the cycle, hope it doesn't hurt my chances too much

2/15 - EFC was 0 for FAFSA, yep I'm a poor college student

2/23 - Visited Iowa's campus, loved it

3/1 - Waitlisted at Iowa via status checker
-Not a big surprise, expected it since my numbers were very borderline

-Accepted to Loyola Chicago the same day via email :)
-I'll have to wait for my financial package to see how much the aid is, I figure it'll be one of the most expensive places I applied. Still happy tho!

3/3 - Submitted my Letter of Continued Interest to Iowa

3/4 - Accepted to SLU with a 51,000 Dean's Scholarship Award!! W00T

3/13 - Just got back from another service trip to New Orleans, had a great time. I received my acceptance to Drake in the mail, plus a $19,000/year scholarship with the stipulation I stay in the top third of my class. I'm not a huge fan of the package because of that...I know Law School will be super competitive, so to maintain the top third part will be extremely difficult. Glad I was accepted though either way!

3/14 - Accepted to Catholic University today, with a 9,000/yr Merit Scholarship :) I've always wanted to work for the national government someday, and going to D.C. would be a great way to start that career...so def still considering Catholic U.

6/2 - I sent in my second seat deposit to Drake last weekend. I'm still holding out hope I get accepted off of Iowa's Waitlist, but I know it will be difficult since it is all ready summer.

I am extremely grateful to all the schools that accepted me over this past cycle. I am looking forward to this new challenge in my life and the new opportunities it may bring.
