-All apps sent January 5-13. I know they're late going out, but I was waiting on LORs and my December LSAT score.

1-23-13: Admitted to Detroit Mercy with a 20% scholarship

UDM was my safety school and unfortunately the scholarship won't bring the cost of attendance down nearly enough for me to seriously consider going, especially given the incredibly limited regional reputation of the school and the less-than-great job prospects that go along with it.

1-25-13: Admitted to both Syracuse ($25,000) and Vermont ($20,000 scholarship)

First rejection. I was almost expecting to be waitlisted here because my numbers were kind of on the cusp, but I'm not really shocked at my rejection...late application, small school, you know how it is.

2-11-13: Waitlisted @ MSU, Rejected from Maryland

I thought MSU was more of a sure thing. Maryland was my long-shot school, so getting rejected from there isn't a shock.

I decided to withdraw my application here in early March.

Totally expected. It was way too much of a longshot.

3-21-13: Accepted @ DePaul w/ a $45,000 scholarship ($15,000/year all three years)

3-30-13: Decided against Detroit-Mercy, Toledo, and Vermont. I'll probably withdraw from Wayne State as well. I haven't made a final decision yet, since I haven't heard back from Penn State or Pitt, and I'm currently under re-review at MSU. Crunch time, no pressure.

I'll probably have to let go of both Brooklyn and Chicago-Kent, too, since the final decisions on their waitlists probably won't get made until much later.

Ok, SU wasn't exactly my top choice, but I was fairly impressed with the law school when I visited a month ago, and out of all the schools I got accepted to, this is probably my overall safest bet.
