Additional info & updates

04/30/14
Submitted my deposit for Columbia.

02/26/14
Holy shit I just got into Columbia.

02/25/14
Waitlisted at Chicago. It's tough to stomach 4 of these in a row.

02/19/14
Today was pretty shitty: waitlisted at both UCLA and Penn.

02/17/14
Waitlisted at Duke. Pretty surprised by this one given the rest of my cycle thus far.

02/13/14
Interviewed with UVA yesterday, and received my acceptance today.

02/10/14
Interview request from UVA.

02/06/14
Accepted to Northwestern via status checker.

02/04/14
Big $$$ offer from Fordham, and my app with Penn just updated with a second Under Review date.

02/03/14
GW just offered me a massive scholarship, super pumped right now!

01/23/14
Accepted to Fordham via e-mail.

01/17/14
Rejected from Harvard via e-mail. It was a long shot but still disappointed.

01/15/14
Accepted to Georgetown. I was also asked to interview with U Chicago.

01/10/14
E-mailed Northwestern the other day because my app status still read incomplete despite having had an interview 2 months ago. They promptly updated the checker today.

01/08/14
Accepted to Cornell via status checker!

12/20/13
Accepted to UC Berkeley via phone call from the Dean! Said they would fly me out to Cali for the Admitted Students Weekend in April.

12/17/13
Accepted to GWU via e-mail and my status checker for NYU now reads "Decision letter sent", which I hope means some more good news is headed my way.

Update: got the call from NYU's Assistant Dean a few hours later congratulating me on my acceptance!

12/16/13
Received an e-mail from Columbia requesting an updated transcript with my fall grades before they continue to review my application...I'll take it as a good sign that they haven't rejected me yet.

11/30/13
Had my interview with Northwestern this morning. It was a pretty standard interview, lasted about 20 minutes and the guy (a current 3L) was very nice and forward about everything.

11/02/2013
Made the October LSAT my bitch.

06/08/2013
Decided to withdraw from the June LSAT and take it in October. I wasn't consistently scoring over 170 (most prep tests were in the high 160s) and know that I am capable of it. Can't wait to make this test my bitch in 4 months.

Sorry about your HLS rejection - apparently it's a bloodbath out there. But really, congratulations on your cycle so far! You've got some excellent options already and you're sure to see even more open up soon.

So sorry about that Harvard situation. They missed out on a good canidate. I'm actually convinced it was a mistake with that LSAT and those softs, geesh! But, musharra is right, you have some great options and those options will only get better. p.s. are you throwing an app at yale?

Thanks

Thanks for the support. I decided not to apply to Yale, but I hit the rest of the T-14 otherwise.

Awesome Stats

NYU seems like a very solid choice, especially given the $$$ they are offering you.

I agree

I'm feeling that way as of now, but I'm still waiting for Columbia's offer and still plan to try and negotiate a bit.

congrats
