Will be first in family to graduate from college, triple Major, studied abroad 3 times, participated in the National Student Exchange for a year at UNM, first Truman Finalist at my school, taken graduate classes as an undergrad, participated in a summer AmeriCorps program, mentor at-risk youth in WV, work w/ Amnesty International, constant work experience since turning 16, interned with WV Legislature, U.S. Senator Rockefeller, and the WV Democratic Party this election season.

EDIT: Joining the 2013 Teach for America corps. Will be reapplying in a few years.

1/18 Held at Harvard. NO WORRIES. I was convinced I would be rejected with my LSAT score, but I wasn't (yet)! It's the little victories...

4/25: JS1 offered. I just accepted a position with TFA yesterday, so I will be turning down the interview

I tried to be as detailed as possible because TLS has made me a neurotic mess.

-Didn't include a "Why X" statement for anywhere, but I did write extra essays where possible- for example answered one of the optional essays at Georgetown and submitted Programmatic Contribution at UCLA

-Didn't tailor PS to any school

-Did submit diversity statement on living in rural WV

-Applied to William and Mary, Georgetown, NYU, and UCLA's public service programs.
