Additional info & updates

Applied much more broadly for the 2013-2014 cycle with GPA + 165 LSAT, and received decent offers from about a dozen good schools (non-T14). Tried to swing a little harder at the LSAT and gained some points. Additionally, I'm only applying to Texas, Duke, and UVA for a variety of personal reasons and so those applications complete my submissions. Now for the waiting. Best of luck to everyone!

12/16 Townes Hall Scholarship from UT.

11/20 Application submitted to UVA.

11/12 In @ UTexas via Regular Decision! (also happened to be on my birthday)

11/9 In @ Duke via Priority Track!

SMU: Non-binding Deferral from 2013-2014 Cycle as a safety. Will not be attending.

SMU Question
Sunday, August 25 2013 at 08:33 PM

Is SMU from the 2013-2014 or 2014-2015? I wouldn't think they would send out deferments out so early in the cycle. If so, that really freaks me out about how my application is going to go. Your numbers are so much more impressive than mine.

The SMU deferral is from the 2013-2014 cycle, so I left it on. Thanks for asking and best of luck on your cycle! I'm going to see if I can add a note to clarify my listing.

I looked at this because we have the same scholarship offer to Texas, and found out that we have the same birthday (11/12). Also, Roll Tide. lol
