Additional info & updates

Dual undergrad business degrees

Originally applied to ASU and UW with the intention of completing a joint MBA/JD. Accepted into MBA programs, but made my final decision to attend only law school after weighing the cost.

Applied to GW and GT early January as these are the schools was most interested in attending, from just a JD perspective.

Withdrew from UW and ASU after acceptance at GW.

Placed on the preferred waitlist at Georgetown.

- After being placed on the preferred waitlist, I flew out to DC in late April to meet with an Admission officer. Additionally, I made it clear that Georgetown was my first choice regardless of financial aid. I feel these actions went a long way in helping me gain admission.

Accepted at Georgetown on 4/29!

- Scholarship of $30,000 (total for 3 years) received at Georgetown, on 5/20, after requesting that I be considered for merit based aid. It never hurts to ask!
