Additional info & updates

I only applied to Universities that sent me an application fee waiver. Fortunately I received a waiver from all my preferred Universities (except U of Florida)

Applied to Emory because they waived my fee and kept sending me emails but got rejected right away. Probably trying to increase their numbers.

-March 25th. got waitlisted by of U of Washington- Not sure i have any real chance of getting admitted. I guess it all depends on how many people are on the waitlist.

-Aril 28th- University of Florida rejection letter. After being placed on hold for a long time i received my rejection letter from UF. It was very sad and crushing for me. I did my undergraduate and graduate program at UF. I had a low undergrad GPA but a 3.95 grad school GPA so i thought my School would take that in consideration, Not even a wait list. It hurts not being part of the Wait List at least. :(

I was accepted to Stetson today with a scholarship. Its 10.5K a year. I don't now which one to accept as of now, UM or Stetson. UM no scholarship but better ranking. Any advice?

I think it depends what you want to do and who offers you that. Dean Zuppo at Stetson is really nice and helpful. The professors there genuinely want you to succeed where I think you could find that at most schools. They offer a good amount of study abroad programs and living in that area is not too bad. I think it depends on who gives you the best vibe. See how many students retain their scholarships after their first year. Private schools are a lot of money, but money might not make a difference if the school is the best fit for you!

Also, I noticed you're a vet. If you're considering JAG, Stetson has a professor who was a JAG officer for the Army and he emphasized that they will help you get on the right track if that's something you're interested in!

Thank you!

Thank you for the advice. Yes Jag is something i am considering. I was leaning towards UM because of program rank but I should give Stetson another look. I also got waitlisted to William & Mary, so another program I don't get in. :/
