Additional info & updates

2/6/17 - Northwestern went complete the day after I submitted my online interview.
Loyola, John Marshall, and DePaul all sent emails for acceptance. Loyola email includes Merit Scholarship info. John Marshall and DePaul send packets in the mail for scholarship info.
University of Chicago is swamped and running behind on processing applications so my status checker still says they don't have my CAS report.
2/11 - DePaul packet finally arrived yesterday with scholarship info. About what I expected based on others information. Received acceptance emails to both Chicago Kent and Michigan this morning (both sent at about 5 AM and today is a SATURDAY). Kent's included scholarship info. I am planning on applying to their Honor's Scholar program which would bring the award up. Michigan sends a packet which I anticipate arriving in the next few days.
2/13 - Chicago is finally complete!
2/15 - Michigan Scholarship information emailed.
2/21 - In at Notre Dame via status checker (shows decision complete with seat deposits under fees)...based on others I should be receiving an email in the coming days and a packet in the mail (with scholarship info).
2/27 - Notre Dame packet arrived with more information, a handwritten letter, and my scholarship info.
3/1 - Went UR1 at Chicago.
3/8 - In at U of I via email. I am an Illinois resident and I received a full tuition scholarship (waiting on mailed docs to verify actual amount covered). Do appreciate that with Illinois Guarantee the tuition amount will only vary based on credit hour. Down to waiting on just NU and Chicago.
3/22 - Withdrew from Loyola and DePaul due to my better offers elsewhere. Still waiting on Northwestern and Chicago. Interviewing for Kent honor's program next Friday.
4/14 - Rejected from Kent's honor's program but they upped the scholarship to full tuition. Without the program though the school just isn't good enough, especially not considering how far above their 75ths I am.
With my current options, I've decided to attend the University of Illinois, and I am so happy!
4/18 - Admitted at Northwestern! Depending on finances, this could change things up...
Also, Chicago-Kent's Dean ended up reaching out to me to offer the Honors Program after I declined. There was an interesting situation and I chose to still decline, but I have mad respect for him.
4/20 -Chicago waitlist...was expecting a ding honestly due to status checker movement and no interview and it being this late. Not sure how long I'll ride it.
4/27 - Scholarship info from Northwestern (submitted scholarship application 4/23, 4/24 was due date) a little disappointing, but I didn't want to go through the trouble of filing for independent status so my parent's financials didn't help. I likely wasn't going to get the amount I wanted regardless. Looks like UIUC for me!
