Update:
I had put down a deposit at Boston College Law, but in May, I was taken off the waitlist at Boston University Law. I was really surprised to discover that I had been offered a $30,000 merit scholarship off the waitlist, and it was a very compelling reason to switch to BU. There were also a number of other good reasons to change schools, such as the types of jobs I'm interested in and the school's strong California presence.
