Additional info & updates

I took the December 2017 LSAT. After receiving my score, I considered retaking to score closer to my practice test average but ultimately decided to go for it, despite it being late in the cycle. I couldn't be happier with my results, but I don't recommend applying as late as I did. Had I applied earlier, I believe I would have been accepted, with scholarships, to many of the schools that waitlisted me.

I took great care when writing my personal statement and other essays, and I believe the importance of the personal statement/essays in the admissions process is often understated. I believe my essays are what differentiated me from other applicants with similar numbers.

I wrote "Why" essays for Columbia, Duke, Michigan, NYU, UC Berkeley, and UVA.

I wrote the optional "Team Experience" essay for Penn.

I wrote the optional "What Would You Teach?" and "Name Three Songs" essays for Stanford. LORs were not targeted toward Stanford.
