12/13/2013 - Accepted at Vanderbilt. As expected...

1/8/2014 - A surprising email from UCLA notifying me that I have been placed on their waitlist. I guess they YPed me, so I immediately withdrew.

1/15/2014 - Accepted at Northwestern!

1/17/2014 - Waitlisted at Penn. As Penn was my first choice, I'm slightly disappointed...

1/21/2014 - Waitlisted at Chicago... I'm really hoping to hear good news from Harvard or Columbia.

2/7/2014 - Rejected by Harvard. Well... with no news from Columbia so far, I guess my cycle is nearly over.

2/18/2014 - Rejected by Berkeley.

2/25/2014 - Rejected by Yale.

2/28/2014 - Accepted by Cornell a few days after the Skype interview.

March,April 2014 - Received scholarships as noted in this profile. Tried to negotiate scholarship with NYU, but the school refused.

May 2014 - After receiving $150,000 from Cornell, I decided to take advantage of the scholarship and attend Cornell.

July 2014 - Eventually rejected by Penn. Still no news from Columbia or Chicago. But I'm pretty set on attending Cornell.

Hi! Best of luck to you! I have been waiting on UCLA for quite awhile too and have gotten into more highly ranked schools. Still haven't heard, but I feel like I'll be waitlisted as well. Congrats on all your other accomplishments thus far!
